| MISSION
STATEMENT "The mission of the Los Osos/Baywood Park Chamber of Commerce is to accept a leadership role and participate in activities directed toward creating, maintaining, and improving an environment which is conducive to the establishment and successful operation of business enterprises in our community" |
 The Chamber of Commerce has a
thirteen member Board of Directors which sets Chamber policy, and forms
committees to carry out the various events and programs that support
this non-profit organization. The Directors are elected annually for
two-year terms, with a 50% rotation of new directors each year.
Any Chamber member may be a director, and any citizen, business or group
may be a member of the Chamber of Commerce.
Membership is a vital part of the Chamber budget, as are its fundraising activities. Some of the fundraising events sponsored or co-sponsored by the Chamber are June Family Fest, Oktoberfest, the Annual Chamber Fundraiser and the Holiday Parade.
In addition, the Chamber sponsors an annual Installation Dinner, the Citizen of the Year Award, Business Person of the Year, Business of the Year and Volunteer of the Year Award. STAFF: Debie Tucker, Executive Director
